Intermediate School Golf

Our IS Golf Team played in their 3rd District Golf Tournament on Friday May 1st. Our ladies team of Kendall Maynard and Campbell Moore demonstrated an outstanding 1st year play as Sixth graders. They competed with 7th and Eighth graders and finished in 2ND Place! We expect to see some great golf from these ladies in the next 2 years.

The boy’s team, Bryson Batson, Caleb Evans, Joshua Evans, Samuel Nicholson and Taylor Norris have played together for the last 3 years with alternate Will Mabry joining us last year. Their dedication and teamwork paid off this final year of Middle school golf. We shot a total score of 360 for the tournament taking 2nd place. Dickson Middle took 1st place with a 355. The top 2 boys team will move on to the Regionals on May 11 and 12 at Champions Run GC. Our own Samuel Nicholson took low Medalist for the District with a great score of 77.
