All School News: September 5 – September 10, 2016

Magazine Sales

Our annual Magazine sales drive kicked off on Friday, September 2. This is our one major fundraiser throughout the school year. Magazine sales were chosen because we feel this promotes reading and is something most people use. We encourage every family to participate as $15, 500 of the money raised goes toward our overall school budget and helps to offset tuition costs. The remaining portion toward individual grades/classrooms. However, participation is optional. Throughout the sale there will be three different turn in dates and prizes will be awarded to students reaching certain goals. This is a fun time for our students and we hope you will join us. If you have questions regarding the magazine sale, feel free to contact, Sally Allen ( or Kari Turner ( . The first turn in day will be Wednesday, September 7.

This form is perfect for sharing on social media! Feel free to snap it and post it!

As we enter the second month of school, we want to remind you of a few procedures for drop-off and pick-up. As you may have noticed, all parking spaces have been numbered. Each driving student and faculty member are assigned a numbered space. We ask that no one park in numbered spaces at any time throughout the day. These are reserved for students/faculty and can cause those folks to be late if their space is taken. There are a few visitors spaces saved on the end of the front row and on the row near handicap parking. We do encourage parents to simply drop off in the mornings and not walk in with their students. Only PreK students have to be walked-in to their classrooms. All other students should now be entering the building on their own. During drop-off and pick-up we ask that parents not exit the car in order to keep the traffic flow moving. All students should be ready to exit the vehicle upon arrival at campus. If you have questions or concerns please contact your Head of School.
