Math Lab
In Math Lab, students in third grade practiced writing, adding, and converting fractions to lowest term. The students changed improper fractions to mixed numbers. They used “Cheez-It” crackers to add their fractions. It was a fun, edible activity.
Students in second grade discussed several different graphs. They had a taste test to decide their favorite apple. They put their favorite apples on a pictograph and answered questions about their graphs. We also discussed adjectives to describe Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Gala, and Golden Delicious apples.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
