Cheerleaders
Clarksville Academy had eight of their Varsity Cheerleaders chosen to represent them at the first ever Varsity Spectacular parade at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on December 5-6, 2015. The cheerleaders will travel on December 3 to Disney and begin their practice preparations for the big show. Over 800 high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the country will perform as a part of an elite group of 9th-12th graders. These students were selected out of thousands of participants at the National Cheer Association (NCA) hosted, Varsity Spirit camps this summer.
Abby Mansfield, Carlynn Holleman, Shelby Moore, Julia Traughber, Gracie Whitlow, Annie Bennett, Ellie Rocconi, and Ava Wilson, will participate in an once-in-a-lifetime parade performance through Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Performers will have the opportunity to enjoy a magical holiday season at Walt Disney World® Resort parks while preparing for this wonderful experience. Choir News
Clarksville Academy Fine Arts presents Tis The Season, on December 12 at 5:30 in the Auxiliary Gym. The Concert, Cougar and Intermediate Choirs as well as the Drama Club will perform in the second annual Christmas concert. We invite everyone to join us at 5:30 for a pre-concert reception. The show will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful production that will set the tone for your holidays!

Lost & Found
The Lost and Found will be donated to a local organization on Wednesday, December 2. Please feel free to come and look through the bin located in the gym. We have asked all students to look this. Thank you.
Photos
Many of you take photos at various events and activities around school. We encourage you to share these with our Marketing/PR office as well as our yearbook staff by using the email photos@clarksvilleacademy.com. This email is designed for students and parents to send pictures taken throughout the school year. We encourage you to caption your photo or to write a sentence or two with the event name, students pictured in the photo and the date it was taken. We do not guarantee that every photo will be used, but we look forward to seeing your pictures.
Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
