7 Wonders of the Underwater World
On Friday, April 29, 2016 our Lower School hosted it’s third annual Events Day. During this day the lower school hallway was transformed by the students into the world of water. Seven different topics were addressed such as The Great Barrier Reef, Galapagos Islands, the Northern Red Sea and more. Students spent the past few weeks discovering interesting facts and information on their assigned area and creating a spot in the hall to showcase what they learned. This was a wonderful time for our students and guests! We invite you to come visit and see their work.
Coach Daniels
Carrie Daniels was inducted into the Indiana Hall of Fame this past weekend. We are so proud of Coach Daniels and all accomplishments!
CAA
The CAA is looking for someone who is interested in being BoxTop coordinator for our school. This person would be responsible for organizing all BoxTop submissions and preparing them to be mailed off. This coordinator does all the work from home and is not needed for meetings, etc. BoxTops should be submitted a few times a year. Please contact Sally Allen at sallen@clarksvilleacademy.com if you are interested in helping with this project.
Pancake Day/Interest Meeting
On Saturday, May 7 the Football team will host their annual Pancake Breakfast. This will be held in the Aux gym from 8-11:30. Tickets can be purchased from any varsity football player or by contacting Coach Hood at thood@clarksvilleacademy.com. There will also be an interest meeting for all Intermediate School students who are interested in playing Intermediate School Football.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
