At Clarksville Academy, everything we do is designed to see our students grow and thrive through academics, athletics, and civic responsibility. Clarksville Academy’s mission is to promote academic excellence, moral integrity, physical growth, and civic responsibility is the cornerstone of a CA education. At Clarksville Academy, everything we do is designed to see our students grow and thrive through this mission statement. In the past five years, we have experienced a consistent rise in enrollment and an increase in our matriculation for each school year. With this in mind, we have developed strategic and campus master plans that will empower Clarksville Academy to better meet the needs of students, now and in the future. We’ve come to realize while planning for our future additional buildings are needed. When considering a capitol campaign, timing is always important. Anchored by a shared purpose and a clear vision, Clarksville Academy today exudes positive momentum.
The administrative team continually works toward identifying the correct fit for our campus. In order to achieve those goals, it was determined that fifteen to eighteen additional classrooms, as well as a new gymnasium and performance stage, are needed. This requires a two-phase process.
Clarksville Academy is excited to announce the Building Beyond Campaign, Our Future, Your Legacy! Phase One is set to break ground in May 2023. A new academic building will be built on the corner of North Second on the former playground and Math House site. Phase Two will begin with a new gymnasium and performance stage in the coming years.
In order for Clarksville Academy to continue growing and leading the community as the premier college preparatory, independent school in Montgomery County, additional classroom space is needed. Phase One of the Building Beyond campaign will include fifteen to eighteen additional Upper School classrooms. This space will primarily house Arts, Languages, and Sciences. It will also feature a state-of-the-art MakerSpace designed explicitly for Upper School students.
Phase Two will provide additional gymnasium space with a performance stage.
Leadership gifts to capital campaigns allow individuals and families to transform an institution. Contributions to Building Beyond, Our Future, Your Legacy will help elevate the learning environment for Clarksville Academy students for years to come. We encourage supporters to consider the following opportunities when making a gift to the Campaign. Donors may make outright gifts to Building Beyond, Our Future, Your Legacy or spread their giving out over a period of agreed-upon years. In addition, there are currently two naming opportunities available.
The academic building will have fifteen to eighteen classrooms for naming right opportunities. To name a classroom, patrons will commit to $10,000 a year for ten years for a total of $100,000. The MakerSpace is also available for naming for $25,000 a year for ten years for a total of $250,000.
