Science Lab

This week in Science Lab 3rd graders in Mrs. Williams class, and Mrs. Smith’s class, created Forest Ecosystems.  They used branches and pine needles to represent trees, and we added vines. We placed  rocks and sticks to represent non living items.  We discussed communities and environment.

Students in second grade are “Gobbling Up” some numbers during Math Lab!  Students worked on ordering numbers from the least to the greatest.  They wrote their numbers on turkeys.

Students in third grade added a fairy-tale twist to A.M. And P.M. times!  They wrote eight activities the character might do at different times during the day.  They completed a clock card by programming the clock with the time the activity will be completed, writing the corresponding digital time in the box, and describing the activity on the line.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
