Author Kelsey Timmerman

Author Kelsey Timmerman visited Clarksville Academy on Friday to sign student’s copies of “Where Am I Wearing?”. This book was read by all our upper school students as part of their summer reading program. The students enjoyed talking with Mr. Timmerman and hearing more about his thoughts behind his book.

Fall Festival

The Clarksville Academy Fall Festival is quickly approaching! On October 24 from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM families can participate in variety of fun activities. During this annual event we will have carnival games, a silent auction, vendor booths, food and so much more! If you are interested in being a vendor for this year’s fall festival please contact Candice Wall at candicewall@att.net. These booths are open to outside vendors and we encourage you to participate. Each grade will also have a carnival game booth. Check with your child’s teacher/sponsor to sign up for a time to work. Each class is also assigned a themed basket and we ask that items be donated for these. A complete list of baskets is below.

Golf Team

The Varsity Golf Teams have had an amazing season! Both the girls and boys teams have steadily remained on top throughout the season. Last week both teams competed at the Regional Tournament. Sadly, our boys season ended with this final tournament. However, our girls team will advance to the State Tournament for the third year in a row! Only either teams across the state in A-AA advance as a team! Bailey Foote, Mallory Saleh and Hunter Farrell will compete on October 13-14 at Willowbrook Golf Course in Manchester, Tennessee. Great job ladies!

Clarksville Academy now offers a Cougar Bucks Account option to better assist children with their lunch needs! This convenient option gives families the opportunity to deposit money into an account and this money can be withdrawn for miscellaneous items that are available at the express window or the hot lunch window. Payments can now be made via the new online marketplace!

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
