Back To School Bash
Thank you to our CAA for a wonderful Back to School Bash! We loved seeing everyone for this exciting event and hope you enjoyed it as well.
If you didn’t get your yard sign at the Back To School Bash, please stop by and pick one up from Mrs. Debbie Turnage or Mrs. Sally Allen. We would like for every CA family to have a Cougar Pride in their yard to show their school spirit. Once you have placed your sign, we ask you leave it up until at least Homecoming the week of September 18. We will have dates throughout the year we will ask you to post them! Be sure to take a photo of your children with the sign and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be posting some of our favorites!
Many of you take photos at various events and activities around school. We encourage you to share these with our Marketing/PR office as well as our yearbook staff by using the email email@example.com. This email is designed for students and parents to send pictures taken throughout the school year. We encourage you to caption your photo or to write a sentence or two with the event name, students pictured in the photo and the date it was taken. We do not guarantee that every photo will be used, but we look forward to seeing your pictures.
All Sports Season Pass
Each Clarksville Academy student will receive a 2015-2016 All Sports Season Pass for regular season home games. The 2015-2016 All Sports Season Pass is on sale for anyone to purchase that is not a Clarksville Academy student (if a parent, grandparent, friend, etc., would like a pass). When you present your pass at the Cougar Store, you may receive special seasonal discounts and offers. The passes are on sale for $60 from now until September 15, 2015. Passes are regularly $75. Game admissions are typically $5-$6 per game. Please remember if you are season pass holder, please present this pass when entering home games.
If you would like to purchase a season pass, please see the business office.
The senior class is selling Smart Cards to help pay for their senior trip. The Smart Card is a discount card for many businesses in the Montgomery County area. Each card is $20 and will be available for sale during the month of August. You may get one from a member of the senior class, Mrs. Hollis, or you can see Mrs. Turnage in the foyer! Please help the senior class as they prepare for this exciting trip!
Our routes have grown and we are seeking an additional morning and afternoon CDL endorsement driver. If you are interested in this position, please contact Sheila Ragsdale at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 931-647-6311.
We encourage everyone with an apple device to download the iCougar app today. This is a great way to stay updated with all the latest in school closings, emergency notifications, etc. If you already have the app, please make sure to go to the app store and update it! A new update was released in January. We are currently investigating the Android market and hope to have it available there soon.
Please contact Kristi Truitt at email@example.com when your child is going to be out of school. This helps us to keep our attendance records up to date. If you know your child will be late due to an appointment please let us know that as well. Thank you.
If you take photos at any of our sporting events or campus events and would like to share your shots, please send them to Sally Allen at firstname.lastname@example.org. These can be used on our website, Facebook page, athletics site or even the yearbook. We ask that you send photos promptly following the activity. Thank you!
Cougar Bucks may be added to your Cougar Card any time day or night! We encourage everyone to take advantage of this easy way to pay for lunch, break, or even the Cougar Store! Payments can be made through our online Marketplace at the below link or by visiting Mrs. Kristi Truitt in the Cougar Café.
To better service our families a new online Marketplace has been developed. You may visit the marketplace at http://marketplace.clarksvilleacademy.com/all-products/. You can pay fees, tuition, Cougar Bucks and more all in one place!
Please join Intermediate School Fellowship of Christian Athletes each Wednesday morning in Coach Trent’s room 402 (the new building) at 7:15 a.m. Everyone is welcome!
Please join the Upper School Fellowship of Christian Athletes each Wednesday morning at 7:15. We invite everyone to attend!
Expanding the Experience
Clarksville Academy is still very excited about our expansion plans! As you can see a new expansion which opened Feb 2015 is adjacent to the main building. This expansion is really booming on the north end of our campus and we are thrilled with the process! In this expanded part of the main building we have the opportunity for a few more classrooms to be named. We have had a few families reserve naming rights on some of the classrooms, but still have a couple left. If you are interested in honoring or memorializing someone in this way, please contact Sally Allen at email@example.com or 647-6311. These won’t last long.
Our hope is to have the new building shown below completed by 2020. We need your help do this! Contact Sally Allen at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out what you can do to help us reach our goal.

News from the Cougar Café
Please remember to Pre-Order Lunch each week. This is very important even when you are on the annual or bi-annual lunch plan. Clarksville Academy now offers a Cougar Bucks Account option to better assist children with their lunch needs! This convenient option gives families the opportunity to deposit money into an account and this money can be withdrawn for miscellaneous items that are available at the express window or the hot lunch window. Payments can now be made via the new online marketplace!

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
