Yearbook Award
Clarksville Academy’s yearbook, Traditions, has been recognized for excellence and featured in the 2018 Jostens Look Book, celebrating the best-of-the-best in yearbook design and coverage. The Jostens Look Book is a collection of spreads and photos from outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, cool covers, dazzling designs, relevant coverage, storytelling copy and action-packed photography. Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the important role well- crafted yearbooks play in helping schools chronicle the experiences, stories and achievements most relevant to students and that academic year.
The Traditions yearbook was created by the 2017 Publications Staff under the direction of Tracy Burkhart, Clarksville Academy yearbook adviser.
The 2017 Clarksville Academy yearbook was one of only 413 yearbooks selected from approximately 2,000 entries. The 2018 panel of judges, comprised of nationally recognized scholastic journalism professionals and award-winning yearbook advisers, selected the best examples of yearbook spreads and covers to make up the 304-page 2018 Look Book.
Fern/Flower Sale
If you ordered Ferns or Flowering Baskets from our annual sale, these should be picked up from Kaki Hughes from the front of campus between 10:00AM-3:00PM on Thursday, April 5.
Book Fair
The Book Fair sold close to $8,000! This was our largest fair yet and it is all thanks to you! The library will use the funds raised to purchase new books and resources. Thank you to everyone who participated!
FCA
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes would like to invite everyone to be a part of FCA this year! High School will meet in room #118 Coach Trent’s Room, Intermediate School will meet in Mrs. Drake’s room. Please make plans to attend Wednesdays at 7:15am, everyone is welcome!
Clarksville Academy Night
Every Wednesday night at Firehouse Subs. Please go by either the Madison Street store or the Wilma Rudolph store and let them know you are with Clarksville Academy. Clarksville Academy will receive 15% of the sale. Every Wednesday night is Clarksville Academy Night at Firehouse Subs.
CAA
Clarksville Academy Association (CAA) is the parent volunteer association of Clarksville Academy. There are many opportunities throughout the school year for parents, guardians, and grandparents to get involved by volunteering your time and/or contributions. Teacher Treats
Each grade level will have the opportunity one time during the school year to provide Teacher Treats. You may contribute snacks, treats, drinks or a monetary donation to help purchase treats. Please watch for your grade’s week and contact your representative.
Box Top Contest
The CAA invites everyone to participate in our Box Tops Contest this year! When you turn in your Box Tops please label the baggie with your student’s name, grade and teacher (Lower School). A tally will be kept of all box top returns and a Pizza party will be awarded to the class with the most labels returned!
FCA
