Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from all of us here at Clarksville Academy. We hope your holiday break is one of rest, relaxation, family, and lots and lots of yummy food! Thank you for being part of our Cougar family. Our students are our most important gift. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Cookie, Cocoa, & Carols

What a wonderful success! Thank you to our Admissions Office for coordinating such a wonderful event for our Pre-K-3rd grade families! Here are a few pictures from this event!

Holiday Surprise

Today the Admissions Office visited our FUSE classrooms and handed out a special treat! They also attended both Intermediate & Upper School lunch where they passed out hot cocoa and donuts and got our students in the holiday spirit with Christmas carols! Another special surprise for 6-12th grade is the gift of athletic wear during exams! We appreciate all our students and thank the Admissions Office for this wonderful treat!

CAPA

The CA Parent Association will host their first annual Cougar Consignment Sale on March 7 in the main gym. At this sale CAPA will accept donations of furniture, formals, maternity, and good/excellent condition clothing and shoes. We ask that no donation be over four years old. As you begin your winter purge, save these items for this wonderful sale! More details to come soon!

CA Experience

We are excited to announce our new CA Experience program. CA Experience is an after school enrichment program that will focus on activities, classes, artistic lessons, sports training and so much more. Each session will run six weeks and provide a variety of opportunities for our students. These will be titled, CA Winter Experience, CA Spring Experience, CA Summer Experience and CA Fall Experience. Exam Schedule

Winter Exams will be Tuesday, December 17-Thursday, December 19.  Exams take place 8-11:30 each day. This is for grades 6-12.

Exam Schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, December 16— Review Day
  • Tuesday, December 17— 1st and 2nd Periods
  • Wednesday, December 18–3rd and 4th Periods
  • Thursday, December 19— 5th and 6th Periods

The Lower School Christmas Program will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at Noon on Procter Court.  Lower School students will be dismissed following the program and will not report on Thursday.  We ask that lower school parents do not arrive before 11:30 for the program. We will dismiss IS & US students at 11:15 and want to have time for the traffic to clear.

Bookstore

The Cougar Store is offering a sale on their white Cougar Paw t-shirt! This shirt is $11 with tax included. They also have lots of great items for that special someone on your Christmas list.

Media Club

Athletics

Games this week:

  • 6th Grade Basketball will travel to Mt. Juliet Christian on Thursday at 6:30.
  • IS Basketball will take the week off with no games this week.
  • US Basketball will play at home on Friday against Silverdale. Please note a time change for this game. Girls tip at 4 and boys at 5:30.
  • Wrestling will travel to Northwest on Thursday, Dec 19 for a meet at 4:30.

CA has always used the box tops label program to earn extra money for our school. We have been so lucky in the past for all your support for the program. FCA

Fellowship of Christian Athletes is every Wednesday for ALL Intermediate & Upper School students. You do not have to be involved in athletics to attend. Intermediate School will be in Coach Trent’s room. Upper School in Mr. Boyd’s room 117 under the gym.
