Intermediate School News: January 22 – 26, 2018

Robotics Team

Congratulations to our Robotics Team who achieved 2nd in the Project Research Category. The team were one of the 54 teams from Tennessee that were down in Memphis on Saturday to compete in the Regional First Lego League Championships. For a rookie team, this is indeed a great achievement. This will not be possible without Mrs. Julie Catelier’s time and expertise in coaching our team, as well as for the dedicated students and their supportive parents.

The members of the 2D Robots Team are: Caroline Salmeron, Christina Webber, CJ McGowan, Daniella McWhorter, Katherine Hilfiker and Selby Shipley.

6th Grade Math

The 6th grade students had fun putting what we studied on Ratio & Rate reasoning and Scale-drawing into practice by working on task cards and finding actual distance between places on maps.
