Photos
Many of you take photos at various events and activities around school. We encourage you to share these with our Marketing/PR office as well as our yearbook staff by using the email photos@clarksvilleacademy.com. This email is designated for students and parents to send pictures taken throughout the school year. We encourage you to caption your photo or to write a sentence or two with the event name, students pictured in the photo and the date it was taken. We do not guarantee that every photo will be used, but we look forward to seeing your pictures.
After School Enrichment Program
CA is proud to announce our After School Enrichment Program. Throughout the year we will continue to add a variety of activities to the schedule. These may include (but are not limited to) courses in fitness, cursive writing, music lessons, art, and more. Be sure to bookmark this site and check it often!
To kick off our fall programs we have 2 fun offerings. Coach Danny Magrans will offer a twice weekly fitness program for our 4th through 12th grade students. This comprehensive program will strengthen your child’s body while teaching them the proper fitness techniques. For more information visit the link below.
Mrs. Marla Clemments will begin teaching a cursive writing course in September. This month-long course will offer second and third grade students an introduction to beautiful art of cursive writing and will strengthen our fourth graders skills. Cursive is a skill taught in our third grade classes at CA so this is a great way to reinforce those skills! For more information visit our link below.

Intermediate English
7th and 8th graders in Mrs. Cawood’s English class took advantage of the perfect weather earlier this week by enjoying their noun and pronoun grammar lesson outside.
Admissions Open House
The Admissions Office is hosting an Open House on Oct 2, Nov 2 and Nov 20. We would love to receive names and contact information to families you think should be invited. We will also host an Admissions Event at the September 4 home football game. Please send all names and contact information to Admissions Director, Tricia Wallace at twallace@clarksvilleacademy.com. FCA
FCA will begin this year on September 2 with its first meeting in Coach Trent’s room, 402 of the new building. We will meet each Wednesday at 7:15. Everyone is invited.
Builder’s Club
Builder’s Club is a community service organization available for all students in 6th-8th grade. Sign up forms and dues should be turned into Ms. Minton or Ms. Jacobsen by September 2nd. If you need a form, you can email Ms. Jacobsen at ajacobsen@clarksvilleacademy.com. We look forward to a great year helping others and having fun.
Back To School Bash
Thank you to our CAA for a wonderful Back to School Bash! We loved seeing everyone for this exciting event and hope you enjoyed it as well.
If you didn’t get your yard sign at the Back To School Bash, please stop by and pick one up from Mrs. Debbie Turnage or Mrs. Sally Allen. We would like for every CA family to have a Cougar Pride in their yard to show their school spirit. Once you have placed your sign, we ask you leave it up until at least Homecoming the week of September 18. We will have dates throughout the year we will ask you to post them! Be sure to take a photo of your children with the sign and send it to us at photos@clarksvilleacademy.com. We will be posting some of our favorites!
Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.

We encourage you to download our mobile app from the App Store. We are currently only available on Apple products. This app will provide wonderful updates about what is going on at our school.
