Music News

In the world of Lower School Music & Intermediate School Music we are embarking on a journey through “The Sound of Music”. This classic musical is based on the vonTrapp family of Austria and their flight from the Nazi’s just before WWII. This year is the 50th anniversary of the musical and PreK through 8th grade students will explore activities before and after the viewing of the musical to help enrich their knowledge of the show. The students will work with different apps to remember facts about the musical and music concepts. Fun skits and historical content maps will be one of the many ways you will find students learning.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
