Fall Festival

The Clarksville Academy Fall Festival is quickly approaching! On October 24 from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM families can participate in variety of fun activities. During this annual event we will have carnival games, a silent auction, vendor booths, food and so much more! If you are interested in being a vendor for this year’s fall festival please contact Candice Wall at candicewall@att.net. These booths are open to outside vendors and we encourage you to participate. Each grade will also have a carnival game booth. Check with your child’s teacher/sponsor to sign up for a time to work. Each class is also assigned a themed basket and we ask that items be donated for these. A complete list of baskets is below.

Golf Team

The girls Varsity Golf Team travelled to Manchester to participate in the State Tournament last week. The team finished 4th out of 8 teams! Bailey Foote tied 24th, Mallory Saleh tied for 27th and Hunter Farrell finished 43rd. We are so proud of these ladies! This makes three consecutive team state tournament appearances! Way to go Cougars!

Player of the Week

Julie Parks, from Heritage Bank and Head Football Coach Todd Hood present Garrett Bauer & John Austin Peay with the Player of the Week Award based on their outstanding performance in the past two weeks. Garrett had a great game on October 8th in our final home game against Bruceton. He graded 93% on offense, recovered an outside kick, and returned a punt for 7 yards. Garrett also had 11 tackles and 1 interception on the defensive side of the ball. The Cougars won the region match up 21 to 6. Coach Hood declared, “Garrett played his best all around game this year and he moved to free safety this week and played great.” This past Friday night, October 16, the Cougars travelled to Huntingdon to take on the Mustangs. John Austin Peay averaged 38 yards per punt with no return yards. The Cougars lost the game. Coach Hood declared, “John Austin had a great kicking night that really eliminated any return yards on the a night against a state ranked team.” The Cougars will travel to Perry County for a big region game. We’d love to see you there!

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects.
