Lower School Christmas Program
A BIG thank you to all who helped to make our Lower School program a success! Mrs. Angelia Thomas out did herself this year with the “In The Spirit” theme and many said it was the best yet! We had over 700 views of the program during our LIVE feed. This was wonderful! Thank you to Mr. Neitzke and his classes for their wonderful backdrop, Mrs. Goostree for all her hard work and planning, Mr. John Mark Cox & Mary’s Music for his help with sound, all our musicians, and students who participated and our wonderful teachers for their help preparing for the event. A special thank you to the parents who helped with costuming as well!
FCA Thanks You
Upper School FCA would like to thank everyone who participated in our dress down day. The money raised was enough to fulfill all of our Christmas projects! We would also like to thank lower school for decorating all the Christmas cards for the nursing homes. They were beautiful! This year we were able to take fruit boxes and cards to four of our local nursing homes. Four Angel Tree Families received Holiday meals. An FCA deployed father received a Christmas box. Money was donated for two cleft surgeries through the Smile Train. Donation of a BioSand Water Filter, chickens, rabbits, Bibles, and Gospel Tracks were sent to Gospel For Asia. Donations were also given to our missionaries Jeff and Mary Beth Meyers. We were also able to make donations to Manna Café and St Jude. Thank you for your support and Happy New Year!
Intermediate and Upper School FCA will resume Wednesday morning meeting on January 14, 2015.
Please contact Kristi Truitt at email@example.com when your child is going to be out of school. This helps us to keep our attendance records up to date. If you know your child will be late due to an appointment please let us know that as well. Thank you.
If you take photos at any of our sporting events or campus events and would like to share your shots, please send them to Sally Allen at firstname.lastname@example.org. These can be used on our website, Facebook page, athletics site or even the yearbook. We ask that you send photos promptly following the activity. Thank you!
Download the iCougar App and enjoy updates about our school. Set your notifications so you are notified for snow closings.
Cougar Bucks—Cougar Bucks may be added to your Cougar Card any time day or night! We encourage everyone to take advantage of this easy way to pay for lunch, break, or even the Cougar Store! Payments can be made through our online Marketplace at the below link or by visiting Mrs. Kristi Truitt in the Cougar Café.
To better service our families a new online Marketplace has been developed. You may visit the marketplace at http://marketplace.clarksvilleacademy.com/all-products/. You can pay fees, tuition, Cougar Bucks and more all in one place!
Please join Intermediate School Fellowship of Christian Athletes each Wednesday morning in Mrs. Hinson’s room 128 at 7:15 a.m. Our officers this year are Carson Caudill and Madison Hawkins-Presidents, Charlton Kelly-Vice President, Bailey Coleman-Communication Coordinator, and Addy Means-Recruiter. Everyone is welcome!
Please join the Upper School Fellowship of Christian Athletes each Wednesday morning at 7:15 in Coach Chuck Holt’s room (under the gym). We invite everyone to attend!
Expanding the Experience
Expanding the Experience—Clarksville Academy is still very excited about our expansion plans! As you can see a new expansion is slated to open January 2015 and is adjacent to the main building. This expansion is really booming on the north end of our campus and we are thrilled with the process! In this expanded part of the main building we have the opportunity for a few more classrooms to be named. We have had a few families reserve naming rights on some of the classrooms, but still have a couple left. If you are interested in honoring or memorializing someone in this way, please contact Sally Allen at email@example.com or 647-6311. These won’t last long.
Our hope is to have the new building shown below completed by 2020. We need your help do this! Contact Sally Allen at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out what you can do to help us reach our goal.

News from the Cougar Café
Please remember to Pre-Order Lunch each week. This is very important even when you are on the annual or bi-annual lunch plan. Clarksville Academy now offers a Cougar Bucks Account option to better assist children with their lunch needs! This convenient option gives families the opportunity to deposit money into an account and this money can be withdrawn for miscellaneous items that are available at the express window or the hot lunch window. Payments can now be made via the new online marketplace!
If you have any questions please contact Kristi Truitt at email@example.com. Thank you!!
Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
