All School News: December 7 – December 11, 2015

Literacy Day

We had a fabulous day at the annual Literacy Day event. Students explored the world of Charlie Brown and all his friends. A big thank you to the library for hosting the event, to all the parents who decorated the venue, Mr. Christmas’ guitar classes for providing background music and to Mrs Pitt’s drama students to performing the scenes from the book. It was a fabulous day for all!

Athletics & Toy Soldier

Deployed soldiers and their families face a tough time during the holiday season. For those with small children, the burden can be even greater. Clarksville Academy is teaming up with Sykes Funeral Home to collect one large and one small toy for each child of these families in need. Toys should be delivered by December 18 and can be dropped off in the main lobby of our gym area. Thank you for your donation to Operation Toy Soldier. You can also visit for more information.

Athletics Says Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who visited Olive Garden during our promotional event last month. Due to your support we raised $1,000 for our Athletics department all because you took your family to dinner! Thank you so much for your support! This week we are partnering with Domino’s for another family night! Forms will go home with your student and be emailed for those who participate. Simply fill out the bottom of the form and return it with your order on December 9 & 10 and CA will receive a portion of your sale! Such an easy way to support our school!

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects.
