Chickens
The 3rd grade baby chicks are ready to fly the coop! They are being taken to their new homes with fellow third grade students. This has been an exciting educational experience for our 3rd grade students!
3rd grade also incorporated this exciting classroom activity into their grandparents day program. Although each grade had a unique twist on their program, we loved the creative hats the students made for their grandparents!
Science Lab
Third grade concludes the unit on the Earth and its Neighbors. We investigated how individual pieces could give the appearance of a complete ring. We concluded that Saturn’s rings cold appear as a solid ring, when in actuality they are composed of small particles that appear as a solid.
Second grade continues exploring Space. We demonstrated the reflective properties of the moon, determining that the moon produce NO light on its own.
First grade continues its investigation of gases. We demonstrated that air takes up space. We also investigated the properties of latex balloons.
