iLink Mrs. Cawood’s group
The Paw Linkers, Mrs. Cawood’s Intermediate School ILink group, have been working all year making adoption gift bags for the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. We visited the Shelter today and delivered our gift bags. The day was especially memorable with all the fur baby hugs and cuddles we received. Several students brought books and read to the animals as well.
Pink Game
The Intermediate School baseball team competed in the annual PINK game against Richview Middle School on Sunday. The boys fought hard, but did not pull out a win. All money raised through this annual game went to cancer research. The IS dance team also joined forces with the Richview team for a special dance. We are proud of our students for participating in this game.
Student Council
There will be an open focus group meeting to discuss the Student Council election procedures on Tuesday, April 26 at 7:15 in the gym. This meeting is open to all students, 6-12 grades, who are interested in offering feedback or suggestions regarding the Student Council election process.
Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
