Study Abroad: Germany

A Study Abroad trip to Germany parent/student interest meeting will be held tonight,  August 20th at 5:30 p.m. in the Portable, Mr. Craft’s classroom.

Juniors and Junior Parents:

This is a reminder about the PLAN parent meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. in the Auxiliary gym.  If you or your child are unable to attend this meeting their test scores will be sent home with them on Wednesday, August 22, 2012.  The PLAN test is the exam given to all 10th grade students at the end of their sophomore year.  You will receive your child’s test booklet and score sheet at the meeting.

1)Teen Court Applications are available in the Guidance Office

Requirements:  Be in grades 9-12

This is a great opportunity to gain real experience and insight into the inner-workings of the juvenile court legal system. As a Teen Court participant you are able to be a part of the judicial system by having hands on experience working as an attorney, juror, bailiff, and clerk.
Teen Court is held every Tuesday from 4:45 pm – 6:30 pm

2) City Of Clarksville Mayor’s Youth Council applications are available in the Guidance Office

Requirements:  Be in grades 10-12, must be 14 years of age, must have a 2.75 or better GPA

The City of Clarksville’s Mayor’s Youth Council is a group of people working toward the common purpose of developing their individual leadership skills to strengthen their community through volunteer service and increased communication with elected officials.

Mayor’s Youth Council will meet once a month throughout the academic school year
