FCA

FCA will be collecting used baseball and softball gloves until the end of the school year. These gloves will be used for a Sports Mission trip this summer in Jamaica. Please drop off with Mrs. Turnage.

 

Clarksville Academy Annual Academic Awards Program

On the morning of Friday, May 2nd, 2014, faculty, administration, students and families, met in Clarksville Academy’s Activities Center to honor the Class of 2014 and other
upperclassmen for their academic achievements for this year during Clarksville Academy’s Annual Academic Awards Program. These students have had a remarkable year in the areas of academics,
athletics, volunteerism, leadership, and growth.

The senior class of only 44 students achieved $4.8 Million in scholarship dollars.

The program began with the recognition of CA’s 2014 Valedictorian, Daniel Christopher Trent, and Salutatorian, Alexa Nicole Griffith.

CA Graduation

This year marks Clarksville Academy’s 40th year of graduates! Clarksville Academy’ss Commencement Exercises will be held on Friday, May 23rd, 2014, at 6:00 P.M. in Clarksville Academy’s Activities Center. Members of CA’s first graduating class, the Class of 1974, will be joining the Class of 2014 during the graduation program.

 

CA Summer Hours

Summer is right around the corner! Clarksville Academy continues to be open during the summer months with a few exceptions. Below you will find our summer schedule and closing dates. Summer camps will begin at CA on June 2 and continue throughout the summer. We hope you have made plans to join us for one of these events!

Summer Office Hours:
May 26-30 Office Closed
June 2-August 1 Office open Monday through Wednesday 8:30-12:30. Closed Thursday & Friday
June 30-July 4 Office closed

Technology Office hours will be Mondays throughout the summer from 8:30-12:30.

2014 Billy Frank Smith Memorial All Sports Banquet

The annual Billy Frank Smith Memorial All Sports Banquet was held in Clarksville Academy’s Activities Center last Friday evening, May 9th, at 6:00 P.M. The evening’s events included a catered dinner by Clarksville Academy’s Cougar Cafe, awards recognition, and all coaches and varsity athletes being honored for their hard work. CA had approximately 400 guests in attendance that night including the family of the late Mr. Billy Frank Smith.

CA Summer Camp

Summer Camp is officially open for registration! We are so excited about the all things offered at CA this summer. We have camps for all ages and these are open not only to our CA family but to the community. Spaces are limited and we ask that you register soon! Congratulations to Mallory Burman who made the semipro soccer team that recently came to Nashville. She will be playing with them until her college commitment starts with the lady Govs! Way to go!!

 

Box Tops Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
