Jonathan Wilson receives Player of the Week

Carla Allison from Heritage Bank and Head Coach Todd Hood present junior Jonathan Wilson with the Player of the Week Award. Jonathan received this award because of his outstanding performance in the round 2 play-off game against Nashville Christian School (NCS). He had 6 tackles, 5 assists and 1 sack from his defensive end position. “Jonathan leads our team every week and his effort and determination to win games is second to none,” said Coach Hood. Jonathan is a fierce competitor and he works year around to be the best he can be. The 6′ 3″ 220 pound defensive end/guard will be getting the attention of many college scouts with his play next year. The Cougars loss to NCS in the second round of the play-offs ended the 2012 season, but we appreciate the hard work and effort that the players and coaches put in this past season. The Cougars have reached the play-offs the last 3 years and has won 18 games with only 5 losses the past two years. Congratulations on another GREAT year and we look forward to the 2013 season. Thanks to all the Cougar fans, parents, and sponsors for their support. GO COUGARS!!
