Juniors & SeniorsJOSTEN’S Message

By the end of this week, Jostens packets will go home with juniors and seniors regarding class ring orders and graduation announcements/memorabilia orders for seniors.  There will also be information regarding cap & gown orders for seniors.

On Monday, September 17, 2012, during Upper School’s lunch, 11:45 A.M. until 1:10 P.M., a Jostens representative will be on campus in the library taking orders.  If you are interested in ordering a class ring, please go to the Jostens website, www.jostens.com, to create your class ring online.  Please print your creation off and bring with you on the 17th.  Our Jostens representatives prefer that you bring this in to ensure that the correct ring is ordered.

Again, we will send home packets by the end of the week for you to look over before September 17th.  Attached to the packets will be payment information.  If you have any questions, please contact Kari Turner.

Clarksville Academy is now offering another outstanding club, The Future Business Leaders of America. This is for Upper School students. Known as FBLA, the club offers students opportunities to learn about a future in business and also about the community they reside in. President Karan Wadwha started FBLA just this year and so far membership has grown to 51. Our sponsor, Mr. Craft, and other officers such as Adrian Ortiz, Daniel Huang, Carson Jowers, Ashleigh Edlin, Shelby Chapman, and Caroline Burchett have contributed a lot of extra time to get this new club off the ground at CA. We are encouraging all upper school students to consider a membership with FBLA to help build collegiate resumes and also learn about the business culture of our society. Membership is closed for 2012-2013 school year, but we hope everyone will consider joining next year!

Please join Fellowship of Christian Athletes on August 29 for our first meeting! This year Upper school FCA will meet in Coach Holt’s classroom #118 (under the gym). We will be meeting on Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. Please come and be a part of FCA, everyone is welcome!
