Clarksville Academy - Promoting Academic Excellence, Moral Integrity, Physical Growth, and Civic Responsibility

Upper School News for February 10 – 16, 2014

Students in two of our Challenge Based Learning Groups participated in a “Bowl Painting Day”. The students were from Mrs. Bell/Mrs. Kirby’s group investigating how we can help the Hungry population of Clarksville, and the second group, Mrs. Hollis/Mr. Barber’s group working with the Homeless population of Clarksville. During their CBL day, they designed, painted, and donated bowls for the Empty Bowls Luncheon to be held (at local churches) on Tuesday, February 25th, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Proceeds from the Empty Bowls luncheon benefits Loaves and Fishes.
