Upper School News for December 2 – 8, 2013


The high school Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be sponsoring a “Dress Down Day” on Thursday, December 12 for grades 6-12. The cost is $5.00 and all proceeds will benefit our Christmas projects: Nursing Home-fruit baskets & cards, Angel Tree Child-toys, clothes, etc., The Smile Train-surgery for a child, Asia- bio sand water filter, chickens, goats, etc., Homeless Shelter-items of clothing, personal items, food, etc., Military Boxes- FCA deployed parents/step-parents. Pre-sale of wristbands will begin Monday, December 9.


Driver’s Education

This week at Clarksville Academy is Driver Education Awareness Week. Each morning during assembly the driver education class will make a short presentation. On Thursday at 12:15 we will have a special assembly.

Football Banquet

The Football banquet is this Saturday December 7th at 6:30 in the auxiliary gym. Anyone interested in attending, please turn in your form and money to Coach Hood.



Congratulations to Mallory Burman for making the THSSCA Girls All State Team!! She is the only player from our district to make the team!!


Concert Choir

Concert Choir is singing on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd for the downtown Kiwanis Luncheon and on Saturday, December 7 the choir will be singing for the Christmas Tree Lighting at the Courthouse! They will be singing from 4:20 until 4:40. There are several county schools who sing as well and we would love to have a big crowd from Clarksville Academy join us to show support for our school and choir!
