We will offer two study abroad opportunities for our students this school year. Students interested in travelling to London with Kyle Christmas during spring break should email him at firstname.lastname@example.org and attend an interest meeting on Thursday, August 29 from 5-6:30. Those interested in travelling to Italy with Piper Bell should attend an interest meeting on Tuesday August 27 at 6PM in the Fine Arts Building upper level.
Students in Honors Algebra II are starting the year on deep note. PBS Ideas Channel has a very interesting video on youtube.com entitled “Does Math Exist?” The students are writing a reflective paper that should lead to some interesting class discussion on the nature of mathematics.
—IMPORTANT!—Each student’s PowerSchool account should be up to date as of today. Contact information should be listed and Emergency/Medical information should be provided. If you have not logged in and verified all information is correct, please do so at this time. We will be compiling our 2013-2014 School Directory from PowerSchool very soon. All emergency information must be provided for your child to be on campus, so it is important to have this required information up to date in PowerSchool.
To access the link to PowerSchool, please visit www.clarksvilleacademy.com. PowerSchool will be located under the Quick Links section.
Also, when reviewing your child’s information, you will find an electronic signature and date box provided at the bottom of the Emergency/Medical tab. Upon completion, please submit your signature.
