Academic Awards Day

The annual Clarksville Academy Academic Awards Ceremony will be held Friday, May 3rd, 2013.  The program will be held in Clarksville Academy’s Activities Center and will begin at 9:00 A.M.  Students in grades sixth through twelfth will be attending along with their teachers.  There will be reserved seating for families of awards recipients and these families are asked to R.S.V.P. no later than Thursday, May 2nd, 2013.

With a few exceptions, awards are primarily presented to graduating seniors.  This is a very important event in the lives of students, parents, and faculty.  Awards represent four years of diligence, determination, and focus in many areas, including scholarship, leadership, teamwork, and citizenship.  We look forward to honoring our students this Friday for all of their hard work and achievements.

Field Day

Field Day is such an exciting day for our students. The dates for Field Day are Upper/Intermediate School on May 14. Students should arrive and depart from the field. If a student needs to arrive at main campus and not the field please let your class sponsor know ASAP so arrangements to the field can be made. Students should dress appropriately and should wear both a hat and sunscreen. We encourage them to bring a bottled water.

Lower School will have field day on May 17. Students will come to main campus and then be shuttled out to the field. Please dress your child appropriately with sunscreen, a beach towel for sitting on, a hat and a bottled water with their name on it.

The Math team participated in the TMTA Math Contest. We had 1st place for Statistics team, Matthew Stephens had 1st place individual for Statistics, and Bradley Perry had 3rd place individual for Statistics.  The team consisted of AP Statistics students:  Matthew Stephens, Emma Denley, Caroline Burchett, and Bradley Perry.
