Clarksville Academy - Promoting Academic Excellence, Moral Integrity, Physical Growth, and Civic Responsibility

Lower School News for December 2 – 8, 2013

Living Literacy Day

Clarksville Academy will host its 3rd Annual Living Literacy Event on Friday, December 6th. This year’s celebrated book is Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree, which is available for advance purchase through your lower school child’s teacher. The students will hear a dramatic reading of the book and participate in fun activities that go along with our book’s theme of sharing, joy, and the spirit of Christmas.

We invite parents and younger siblings to come see and hear the book at 8:00 AM. We respectfully ask that parents allow their children to experience the event with their class, and not plan to accompany them during their classroom time.

We look forward to seeing you!

Junior Cheer

The Junior Cheerleaders will perform at the basketball game on December 6th at 6pm. Practice for the performance will be held December 5th from 3pm – 4pm.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
