The rest of the story:
My family transferred to Clarksville/Ft Campbell over the summer of 2012. It was another move, another city for this military family. My youngest son, Darrius, has attended school in a different district each year of his life! My boys have never been in the same school making things like parent teacher conferences and school activities overwhelming for a working parent. That all changed this year. When we moved to Clarksville, we heard about CA and all they were doing. We had also been told about the wonderful athletic program and the strong, caring coaches there. I wanted a school that would first and foremost develop my children academically and secondly as athletes. We toured over the summer and my oldest son, Jaleel talked with both the football and basketball coaches. Sports have always been an important part of Jaleel’s life and continuing his success on the field was important. After speaking with the coaches, he was sold on CA! After my tour of the facilities and talks with the Heads of Schools, I was convinced that this was the perfect place for my boys! We are so glad we made this monumental decision and know that it is the best one for our family.
The technology at CA is innovative and has made all difference in my sons’ education. The technology gives my children an advantage in their everyday learning. Learning is fun for my sixth grader because of the apps used for study, homework, and quizzes. The iPad and MacBook have also made it easier to keep up when we have to miss school for sickness or travel.
I know the staff cares about my sons. It’s evident in the hugs, phone calls, emails and even text messages with photos of things they are doing throughout the day. No matter where I am in the world, I feel like I am right there with them, experiencing their day with them! The community or family of Clarksville Academy has embraced me and my children and for that I am grateful! CA has become one of the best parts of my day!
