The rest of the story:
I started Clarksville Academy in Kindergarten and am now nearing the end of my senior year. Being a part of CA has been like being a member of a large family. The students, staff, faculty, and Heads of School truly treat each student as a member of their extended family. Some of my favorite memories are of my senior buddy, Victor from long ago. I remember always looking for him in the hall and how much I looked up to him. Now, I have a Kindergarten buddy, Christopher. I look forward to our time together and love that he looks up to me. I’ve been given so many opportunities at CA. This year I was selected by the faculty as Mr. CA. This is such a high honor and one I am happy to receive. I just returned from a trip to Costa Rica with my Spanish class. This was an amazing trip for me. We were immersed in Spanish the entire time we were there. We lived with host families, travelled to various locations, attended classes and spoke only Spanish. It is an experience I will never forget.
As I look to the future, I plan to attend the University of Kentucky and study Landscape Architecture. I look forward to the new experiences I will have and feel confident I will be successful due to the solid foundation I have received at CA. I feel like CA has given me what I need to succeed in the coming years, and I look forward to what lies ahead.
