Lower School Field Day

Due to forecasted weather, field day will be this Thursday. Sorry for short notice.

Clarksville Academy’s Field Day for Lower School will be held on: Thursday, May 8th, at Clarksville Academy’s Sports Complex. The students will be transported to the Field Day activities by bus. Our rain date will be on Thursday, May 15th.

Schedule of Events: (approximate times)

Grades K – 5
8:15 A.M. Depart CA (8:15 Kindergarten & 2nd ), (8:40 3rd & 4th), (9:00 5th),
(1st grade will be transported after the Mother’s Day Program)
8:30 – 11:30 A.M. Individual Events
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 2:30 Fun Activities TBA and Departure Times

 

CA Wax Museum

8th grade wax museum will be held from 1:15pm – 2:45pm in the main gym on Thursday, May 8th.

 

CA Buddy Run

Lost and Found

Has anyone seen my white Abercrombie coat? How about my New Balance tennis shoes? That Polo jacket? Oh yeah, they are all in the LOST & FOUND! If you have items that are lost or misplaced please stop by the Gym and check out our Lost & Found. We have many, many items that need to be claimed prior to the end of the school year. The Annual Billy Frank Smith Memorial All Sports Banquet

The Annual Billy Frank Smith Memorial All Sports Banquet will be held on Friday, May 9th, at 6:00 P.M. in Clarksville Academy’s Activities Center. We will honor our athletes, coaches, and the Smith family during this event. Reservations are due no later than Thursday, May 1st.

 

CA Summer Camp

Summer Camp is officially open for registration! We are so excited about the all things offered at CA this summer. We have camps for all ages and these are open not only to our CA family but to the community. Spaces are limited and we ask that you register soon! Not only have added new and exciting camps this summer, but we’ve streamlined our registration process. All registrations and payments will be taken online. Payment is due at the time of registration.

Summer is just around the corner and we hope that you and your family will spend some of it with us.

CA Athletes

Dr. McIntosh will be completing sports physicals for all CA athletes in 8th – 11th grade, going in 9th -12th, on Saturday May 10th. This is a great day to get your physical for the 2014-2015 school year. Cost of physicals is only $5!

I have attached a time sheet for each team’s time slot. Please try to go during this time frame. Dr. McIntosh will have blank forms to be used. If the student will be driving to the physical, please pick up a physical form from Mrs. Turnage to be filled out and signed by your parent before you go on Saturday. Physical forms will be left at Dr. McIntosh’s office.

Future Expansion

The first preview of building rendering was shown during our Annual Steak Dinner. The drawing will be on display in our foyer as well as online for our parents, students, alumni and other interested stake holders to view. Clarksville Academy now offers a Cougar Cash Account option to better assist children with their lunch needs! This convenient option gives families the opportunity to deposit money into an account and this money can be withdrawn for miscellaneous items that are available at the express window or the hot lunch window.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
