Lower School Christmas Program

The Annual Lower School Christmas Program will be on December 19 beginning at 8:30 a.m. All parents and guests are invited to take part in this wonderful event.

 

Living Literacy Day

Bowling Club

The Bowling Club will host its annual end of the year awards program on December 18 at 3:30 at the Pinnacle. Parents are invited. RSVP to Mrs. Dirksen at kdirksen@clarksvilleacademy.com.

 

2013-2014 Holiday Service Projects

CA’s Builder’s Club is collecting change to donate to Pennies for Patients to assist with the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation. Builder’s Club will be collecting the change until Christmas break.

The high school Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be sponsoring a “Dress Down Day” on Thursday, December 12th, for grades 6-12. The cost is $5.00 and all proceeds will benefit our Christmas projects: Nursing Home-fruit baskets & cards, Angel Tree Child-toys, clothes, etc., The Smile Train-surgery for a child, Asia- biosand water filter, chickens, goats, etc., Homeless Shelter-items of clothing, personal items, food, etc., Military Boxes- FCA deployed parents/step-parents.

 

Pre-sale of wristbands begins Monday, December 9.

Key Club has adopted 45 Angel Trees and donations will be delivered for these angels on Monday, December 9th.

Also, Key Club is collecting new books for all age groups to donate to children of military families in need. This effort is for Operation HomeFront and this is our third year collecting items for this organization.

 

THSSCA Girls

Congratulations to Mallory Burman for making the THSSCA Girls All State Team!! She is the only player from our district to make the team!!

Future Expansion

The first preview of building rendering was shown during our Annual Steak Dinner. The drawing will be on display in our foyer as well as online for our parents, students, alumni and other interested stake holders to view. News from the Cougar Café

Clarksville Academy now offers a Cougar Cash Account option to better assist children with their lunch needs! This convenient option gives families the opportunity to deposit money into an account and this money can be withdrawn for miscellaneous items that are available at the express window or the hot lunch window.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
