Lower School Christmas Program

The Annual Lower School Christmas Program will be on December 19 beginning at 8:30 a.m. All parents and guests are invited to take part in this wonderful event.

Challenge Based Learning

Challenge Based Learning (CBL) takes an overriding topic and allows the students to collaborate and create projects and solutions that will be beneficial to themselves and the community. In our CBL group, we have a guiding question which is, how can we show our troops that we are thankful? Our subgroup name is BDB, and in our subgroup we have decided to help soldiers by organizing a phone drive. The idea is to donate old cellphones to an organization called Cell Phones for Soldiers. Cell Phones for Soldiers is where people can donate their old phones (flip phone, smart phone, etc.) and they are sent to soldiers overseas. These phones are then given to the soldiers so they can make calls to their loved ones. We are asking CA families to donate their old phones to the donation boxes we will have around school. Some of these locations include the front desk and in front of the auxiliary gym. We will be taking these phones to the drop off location in Ashland City. With Christmas coming up, I know a lot of you will be getting new phone, so before you throw your old phone out, please think about donating them. Thank you!

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
