A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make Steak Dinner a huge success! Student performers, servers, choir directors, parent volunteers, cooks, faculty, maintenance and so many others made this a night we won’t soon forget!


Steak Dinner Prints

If you won one of the steak dinner limited edition prints Saturday night, we have good news!  D&D Printing is offering 15% off of framing for these prints!  Coupons are available at the Cougar Store!  If you did not receive one of these wonderful prints and would like a printed copy, please pre-order in the bookstore from Kaki Hughes.  All orders must be received by Friday at 3:00 pm.  They are $20 each.  Thank you!


Junior – Senior Prom

The Junior- Senior Prom will be held Saturday, May 3 at the Clarksville Country Club at 6pm. Our theme this year is "A Night at Gatsby’s". Tickets are $45 and are available from Mrs. Amanda Pitt. All CA seniors are free.

The After Prom is at the YMCA from 12:01am- 3am. Tickets are $10 and are also available from Mrs. Pitt.


CA Summer Camp

Summer Camp is officially open for registration!  We are so excited about the all things offered at CA this summer.  We have camps for all ages and these are open not only to our CA family but to the community.  Spaces are limited and we ask that you register soon!  Not only have added new and exciting camps this summer, but we’ve streamlined our registration process.  All registrations and payments will be taken online.  Payment is due at the time of registration.  

Summer is just around the corner and we hope that you and your family will spend some of it with us.

Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair

On March 20, forty-one Clarksville Academy Chemistry Students participated as individuals in the 62nd Annual Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair.   Twenty-four of the students were recognized on April 7th in the awards ceremony held at Austin Peay State University. Many of the students not only placed in their category, but also won secondary awards from any one of the 28 Private and State Organizations that came to judge the fair.   Many of these awards are accompanied with cash prizes.  Clarksville Academy students won in excess of $2,000 this year.

All-State Choir

Anne Marie Darke will be in Memphis, Wednesday thru Friday participating in the Tennessee All-State Choir.  She was selected for this honor after competing against over 1000 students across the state during two rounds of judging.  Great job!!


Clarksville Academy Cougar Classic Golf Tournament

19th Annual Clarksville Academy Cougar Classic Golf Tournament presented by The Clarksville Academy Cougar Club will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at Swan Lake Golf Course off of Dunbar Cave Road in Clarksville. Miss Homecoming Queen Pageant

Congratulations to CA’s Alexa Griffith! She placed first runner up in the Miss Homecoming Queen Pageant. She was chosen out of 300 girls to participate in this pageant. Way to go!!!

CA Varsity Dance Team Tryout

CA Buddy Run

The Intermediate Fitness CBL group is sponsoring the Clarksville Academy Buddy Run on May 3, 2014. Join us for this great event, as Upper School students will partner with a Lower School “Buddy” to encourage fitness and help our lower school students complete this race! The first preview of building rendering was shown during our Annual Steak Dinner. The drawing will be on display in our foyer as well as online for our parents, students, alumni and other interested stake holders to view. Clarksville Academy now offers a Cougar Cash Account option to better assist children with their lunch needs! This convenient option gives families the opportunity to deposit money into an account and this money can be withdrawn for miscellaneous items that are available at the express window or the hot lunch window.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels—

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
