1st Grade Pet Show
Due to the recent winter weather we had to postpone the Annual 1st Grade Pet Show last week. The new date for the pet show is now March 6 at 9:00 AM on Procter Court. First grade teachers will email their students soon with more details. Everyone is invited.
With our recent days out of school and the inability to have weekend rehearsals on campus for this year’s performance at CA’s Annual An Evening with Friends Steak Dinner, the Steak Dinner committee has come to a decision that there is inadequate time for preparation to continue with our original March 7th show date. Please make note that CA’s Annual An Evening with Friends Steak Dinner will now be on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 6:00 P.M. Tickets may be purchased through Mrs. Kari Turner in the front office.
You will receive a new RSVP card in the mail to replace the one you received earlier. We apologize for any scheduling conflicts that this may have caused your family, but to have a top rate dinner and performance of this caliber, this decision was necessary.
Please mark your calendar and we look forward to seeing you there!
PreK Royal Processional
Our PreK students had a wonderful time on their Royal processional around school on Friday.
FUSE Social Studies enjoyed learning more about our nation’s government in an interactive, hands-on government station. Many students created bills and declarations of their own that they could either approve or veto!
Ms. Williams’ class now has 18 new “Egg-cellent” classmates in their classroom. They are hatching baby chicks which should be ready to hatch in 21 days.
We are currently undergoing re-enrollment here at CA. Families should submit their re-enrollment contracts before March 6. All returning families have their space secured for the 2015-2016 school year until March 6. After this date we will begin open enrollment for any student in our community. If you have questions regarding re-enrollment please see the Business Office.
Mark your calendars for this wonderful event! Grandparents Day 2015 has been set. You will receive more information from your child’s teachers as it becomes available.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
