3rd Grade Native American Projects

Have you ever wondered what life was like as a Native American?  Well, you can find out all about it by visiting the 3rd grade hall! Our amazingly creative students have worked very hard to create their own replicas of Native American Dwelling Places!  This week the students will present their projects, and teach one another all that they have learned while creating their amazing homes!

ACT

Dear Clarksville Academy Parents,
Clarksville Academy has adopted the use of ACT Aspire, ACT’s new assessment system, as the summative assessment in grades 3rd through 10th, beginning this school year. This new assessment will replace the CTP4, EXPLORE and PLAN tests, as ACT is discontinuing the use of the EXPLORE and PLAN assessments.ACT Aspire is a digital and longitudinal assessment system that will connect our student’s performance to their college readiness. This assessment will enable our teachers to chart their students’ progress year to year.

The Aspire is linked to ACT’s college readiness standards and will serve as an integral part of our student’s success.During the month of April, Clarksville Academy will administer the ACT Aspire to all students in grades 3rd through 10th.

Students in grades 3rd through 5th will take the paper version of the Aspire test and students in grades 6th through 10th will test using the computer based version of the Aspire.

The ACT Aspire will be administered in the mornings on the following dates:3rd – 5th grades – Monday through Thursday, April 7th – 10th

6th grade – Tuesday through Friday, April 1st – 4th
7th grade – Monday through Thursday, April 7th – 10th

9th grade – Monday and Tuesday, April 7th and 8th

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels—

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
