Special Guests
Dr. Andrea Spofford, Associate Professor of English at APSU, and several students from Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society, facilitated a poetry workshop with the FUSE 5th graders. The students discussed elements of poetry in their new novel, Out of the Dust, and wrote their own poems on fancy paper. They created some amazing poems with the help of Dr. Spofford and her students!
On Friday, the lower school students enjoyed a special treat with Steve Weeks a musician from Colorado Springs who was here to perform at Rivers & Spires. He did a wonderful job entertaining our students!

Box Tops
This is a reminder that CA collects Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
