CA was represented well at the Regional Speech Competition Tuesday night. Intermediate students Cheyenne Deibert (8th grade) and Elijah Colvin (6th grade) both took home 2nd place in this year’s regional competition. Max Brooks a CA Lower School student (4th grade) placed 4th!!! Very impressive performances by all our students!
Intermediate School Dance Team Try-Outs
The Intermediate School Dance team tryouts will take place the week of April 27. Students interested in trying out for the dance team should pick up a packet, fill it out and return it by April 24 at 3PM. Tryouts will take place daily after school April 27-30.
3rd Grade Science
This week in Science lab 3rd Graders investigated weather instruments including barometers, wind vanes, thermometers, and rain gauges. We measured rainfall at 3 locations, measuring an recording amounts on our data sheets. We reviewed cardinal directions as we examined rainfall amounts on our campus.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels
This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
