Homecoming Week takes place October 24-28.

Homecoming is such an exciting time at Clarksville Academy!  This page will list all the information needed for current families and Alumni. 

Dress-Up Days

Movie Star Life, Monday-Dress as your favorite movie star or movie character!

Decades of Life, Tuesday-Dress to represent your favorite decade.

The Harley Life vs. The Beach Life, Wednesday-Dress as a biker or a surfer!

The Colorful Life, Color Wars ThursdayStudents will dress in their color wars color.

12th/Kindergarten-Black

11th/PK-Blue

10th Purple/ 5th- Red

9th/4th- Orange

8th/3rd- Green

7th/2nd-Pink

6th/1st- Yellow

**Students in grades 5-12 will receive their specially designed Color Wars t-shirt on Wednesday to wear on Thursday.

Saturday, September 25

Homecoming Movie Night for Grades 5/6
Movie: Halloween Themed
The movie will take place in the auxiliary gym from 5:00-7:00 PM
There is no cost for this event.
Homecoming Dance for Grades 7/8
Dance Location for 7th & 8th grade will be the Main Gym 5:30-7:30 PM
Dress is Sunday Best (dressy Sunday dress, dress slacks, button down, tie optional for boys–Jeans, shorts, sweats are not allowed.)

Homecoming Dance for Grades 9-12 
Dance Location for grades 9th-12th is the Main Gym from 8:00-11:00 PM.
Dress is Semi-Formal (dressy Sunday dress/cocktail dress for girls, dress slacks, button down, tie optional for boys–Jeans, shorts, sweats are not allowed)

Upper School Homecoming Dress Code is semi-formal:
  • All dresses must be modest length. 
  • Dresses may be strapless as long as they fit properly.
  • Dresses may be backless as long as they are not cut below the navel/waistline.
  • Two piece dresses are acceptable if the midriff is not exposed.
  • Slits must not exceed mid-thigh.
  • Low cut garments are unacceptable.
  • If you are bringing a date that does not attend CA, it is your responsibility to inform them of the dress code.
  • Pantsuits, khaki pants, and button up shirts are acceptable.

The following will NOT be permitted:

  • Dresses with revealing cut-outs
  • See-through gowns 
  • Plunging necklines
  • Shorts, torn clothing or athletic attire

All students:

If there are questions or concerns with attire, students should see their Head of School. 

Students and their dates who are non-compliant with the dress code will not be admitted to the dance or will be escorted out of the dance.
