Clarksville Academy - Promoting Academic Excellence, Moral Integrity, Physical Growth, and Civic Responsibility

International Education

We strive at Clarksville Academy to offer a diverse education both in and out of the classroom.  We feel a diverse student body introduces our students to a wide range of cultures which helps them to be successful in a global society. CA offers international students an opportunity to immerse themselves in our school and it’s programs with a smooth, positive transition.

Many of our international families come to us through Clarksville area industries that may have sister facilities in other countries. We work closely with area industry leaders to ensure each student’s needs are met and that they will be successful at Clarksville Academy. CA also enrolls international students who reside with host families. Our Admissions office works closely with both the international family and host family to make the transition to CA a smooth one. While our curriculum is English language based, translators and tutoring are available for our students who may not have a grasp on the English language.

Student translators, one on one interaction with teachers and student buddies gives our international students a true feeling of welcome upon their enrollment.

Clarksville Academy is a college-preparatory school and only those students demonstrating the intellectual potential needed for college studies will be accepted. Statistics show that students who begin at CA in PreK/K have an overall higher ACT score than those students who begin CA after Kindergarten. Further, those students who begin at CA in lower school score significantly higher on average than those who begin in intermediate and upper school. Clarksville Academy students score an average of 3 points higher on their ACT than the county, state and national averages.
