We collect Boxtops and Campbell’s soup labels!
Events that the CAA is responsible for or that we help with:
Teacher Treats – done every Thursday entire school year
Boo Hoo Breakfast for Pre – K and K parents on the first day of school
Back to School Bash for all families – held the first of school
Fall Festival – held in October
Christmas Decorations – take down and set up in late November and early January
Christmas Program Refreshments – Lower school friends and families – held in December
Help with Steak Dinner – help in March
Grandparents Day Refreshments – Lower School – held in April
Graduation Refreshments – held in May
Help set up for – Academic and Sports Banquets – help in April or May
Teacher Appreciation Week – held in May
We also get classroom or grade representatives to help communicate information to the classroom.
This year we will also be involved in helping get the school ready for our SACS visit which will be in February or March. SACS is our school accreditation program.
What does the CAA do with the money raised?
In the past, we’ve used these funds to redecorate the teacher workroom, install lamp posts in front of the school, install library shelves, purchase a Santa Suit, and add landscaping and flowers around the school.
