1st Grade Pet Show

Due to the recent winter weather we had to postpone the Annual 1st Grade Pet Show last week. The new date for the pet show is now March 6 at 9:00 AM on Procter Court. First grade teachers will email their students soon with more details. Everyone is invited.

Steak Dinner— With our recent days out of school and the inability to have weekend rehearsals on campus for this year’s performance at CA’s Annual An Evening with Friends Steak Dinner, the Steak Dinner committee has come to a decision that there is inadequate time for preparation to continue with our original March 7th show date.  Please make note that CA’s Annual An Evening with Friends Steak Dinner will now be on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 6:00 P.M.  Tickets may be purchased through Mrs. Kari Turner in the front office.

You will receive a new RSVP card in the mail to replace the one you received earlier.  We apologize for any scheduling conflicts that this may have caused your family, but to have a top rate dinner and performance of this caliber, this decision was necessary.

Please mark your calendar and we look forward to seeing you there!

Third Grade

In Science, third grade students made vocabulary graphic organizers in preparation/review for their upcoming Ch. 4 assessment.  Students included a definition and picture to help remember  key vocabulary words. This required research for definitions and pictures to include. Students could draw or print their pictures. Students demonstrated their creativity in this mini-project.

Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels

This is a reminder that CA collects Campbell’s labels and Box Tops through our CAA. The money raised from this project funds various school improvement projects. Last year we raised over $2000 through the Box Tops program alone! Please turn yours into your child’s teacher or Ms. Turnage in the front office.
