Athletics & the Arts

Clarksville AcademyAs growing students develop their minds through academic rigors, they must develop physically as well with challenging and motivating physical pursuits.

Activities for children in the Lower School include extracurricular and after-school activities such as junior cheerleading, dance, and the scouting program.

As students grow and transition into the Intermediate and Upper Schools, Clarksville Academy fields nearly a dozen team sports including basketball, football, volleyball, and soccer which foster cooperation and the building of leadership skills. More independent sports—such as tennis, golf, and bowling—encourage healthy competition and strengthen self-esteem.

Artistic endeavors for students in the Intermediate and Upper Schools include Drama, Art, Dance, and Choral Music. Additional activities include publications, community service, and membership in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, and many more.
