FORD Drive One for Your School Challenge
CA is proud to partner with Jenkins & Wynn and Ford Motor Company to bring “Drive One For Your School” to CA on September 15 from 9:30-1:30. On this date parents, students, alumni, friends and anyone interested will have the opportunity to help CA raise a possible $6,000 by test driving a car. We will have a sign up posted online within the next couple of days. We ask that everyone who can participate. CA will receive $20 for each person over 18 who comes to CA on September 15 and test drives a car. Only one member of each household allowed and up to 2 per car are counted. (This means that we could receive $40 per car every 10 minutes for up to 4 hours!!!!) More information will be available via the website.

Please come join us for music, dancing, and fun!
The Middle School Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, September 18 from
6 – 9pm at the Clarksville Country Club. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, Sep. 15 at the morning assembly. It will cost $15 per ticket. The dress for the dance is semi-formal; denim and/or tennis shoes may not be worn. Light refreshments will be served. Daphne’s Portraits will be on hand to take photographs. Picture pricing will be attached to the tickets.

PSAT Information
Attention 10th and 11th grade students and parents!
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program co-sponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives you a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.
The PSAT/NMSQT measures:
Critical reading skills
Math problem-solving skills
Writing skills
PSAT is an OPTIONAL assessment. PSAT will be administered at CA on October 16, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. The fee for PSAT is $13.00. If you plan on taking PSAT, please pay the testing fee in the business office on or before Monday September 6.
