Clarksville Academy will be open for school tomorrow. Parents should use their discretion for their children’s attendance. School hours for Thursday and Friday will be regular full-day. (Note this is a change from the previous schedule for one-half day on Friday for Teacher In-Service.) We recognize that travel times may not be predictable or dependable and we will make every consideration for your child.
Both Thursday and Friday will be full day for PreK through 12 students.
*****Please use Wednesday to test drive your route to school because an alternate route may be needed.
Both the lower Cumberland Terrance entrance and the McClure/Anderson Drive entrance to campus will be open as usual. They will both be accessible from College Street and downtown Clarksville turning onto North Second Street.
The drop off exits will remain on North Second as usual but drivers will only be allowed to turn right and travel toward downtown Clarksville. Riverside drive and Kraft street remain closed due to flooding.
Bus and Van routes will be determined by the drivers. They will be contacting the riders by telephone to discuss details and time adjustments.
Sports Schedule information will be phoned or texted to players as decisions are made.
A reminder that the Academic Awards Banquet held at the downtown Riverview Inn on Thursday, May 6 has been cancelled. Details will follow as soon as other arrangements have been made.
Intermediate Cheer tryouts will be held next week, May 12-14. Tryouts will be after school each day with the official tryout on May 14 at 3:15. Students and parents should contact Becky Hyams with questions.
If you were kind enough to volunteer for Teacher Appreciation lunch this week, we will begin with Monday’s schedule taking place on Thursday. Each day will then be pushed back from there (ex. Monday on Thursday, Tuesday on Friday, Wednesday on Monday, Thursday on Tuesday and Friday on Wednesday). Questions regarding this should be directed to Ms. Turnage at 647-6311.
We look forward to seeing you all at school tomorrow!
