Cougars STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!

The Cougars win the State Championship in a double overtime game on Saturday!  This is the first basketball state championship for any Clarksville team and for Clarksville Academy.  To add to the excitement of winning of the game, Malcom Smith, a CA Junior, was named Mr. Basketball for Class A and our cheerleaders were awarded the Spirit & Sportsmanship Award.  Sarah Wallace & Brianna Fuller were also able to sing the National Anthem not only at the 3A game, but at the start of our game too!  Both girls did an amazing job!  All in all it was a good Saturday!   Congratulations to Josh Smith and the boys basketball team.

To celebrate our victory, we will have a signing party on Wednesday, March 24 from 11:45-1:10.  All the players will be available to sign your shirts, towels, hats, etc.  We will also have a limited number of photographs available for signing.  All school children will be taken through the Miller Activities Center for the signing, we ask they bring their items for signing (1 item per child please).  We will also allow time for photos if you have a camera or want to send one with your child.  We encourage everyone to come out and congratulate our team.  This event is free and open to the public.

We have called to get more TSSAA State Champ shirts.  Once we have more information on these shirts, we will provide it to you.
