State Playoffs Here We Come!

The Cougars played to a packed house last night! We had 940 people in attendance to watch the Cougars prevail over Summertown and win a spot in the State playoffs. The exciting game ended with a score of 56-44. Summertown proved to be a tough competitor but once again the Cougars were victorious! The next step for the Cougars will be the quarter finals of the State playoffs on Wednesday, March 17. On Saturday morning, we will draw for our time slot. It will be one of four times between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 3:15 P.M. We will post the game time as soon as it is available. We encourage everyone who can to attend the game. We will provide transportation for students who want to travel with us and more information regarding this will become available. If you do plan to travel to the game, we encourage you to purchase your commemorative blue Cougar 2009-2010 basketball season shirt for $10. This is the perfect way to show your love for CA. These can be purchased by contacting Ms. Turnage at 647-6311. If we do not currently have your size, we will take special orders through Thursday at 3:00 P.M. for Tuesday delivery.
Congratulations goes out to Sarah Wallace & Brianna Fuller who have been chosen to sing the National Anthem at the TSSAA State Championship. They will be singing at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 20, 2010. We encourage everyone to come out and support these two very talented girls!
