Tyler Marshall Signs with Trevecca Nazarene University

Tyler Marshall, Clarksville Academy Senior signed with Trevecca Nazarene University’s soccer program today.  Tyler has played at Clarksville Academy under the leadership of Coach Tony Sonnabend.  During his career at CA he has been named, All-Midstate, District Offensive MVP, The Leaf Chronicle All Area Team, and The Leaf Chronicle All Area Player of the Year.  Tyler has broken both CA and Montogmery County goal records with over 44 goals in a season.

Coach Leavy of Trevecca’s Men Soccer program was quoted as saying, “Tyler will be a great addition to our attack.  He has shown the ability to finish frequently by scoring 44 goals his junior year of high School. Tyler has a great passion for the game that will translate into a lot of energy to our program.”

Joining Tyler at the signing today were his parents, Richard Marshall & Leigh Ann Marshall and his grandparents, Bob & Betty McKinnon and several of his team & classmates.  To make the day even more special his grandfather celebrated his 83rd birthday today!
