Basketball Fundraiser

On February 5th & 9th, our basketball teams will have two fund raising auctions to assist with the purchase of the all new Shoot-A-Way Gun 8000 Series.  We will be auctioning off delicious desserts at the varsity boys’ basketball games during half-time.  Also, on February 9 during half-time at the varsity boys’ basketball game, we will have a silent auction.  The auction items will be on display in the auxiliary gym and ready for viewing by the varsity girls’ basketball game. 

 The Shoot-A-Way Gun 8000 Series connects to the basketball goal to provide many different practice options.  The Gun 8000 has a touch control pad that allows the user to enter where they want the balls to be passed.  This will allow them to work on plays and drills.  The player can also select a time delay between passes and the number of shots per spot.  This machine will be beneficial to Clarksville Academy’s entire basketball program.

 If you would like to donate items for auction please turn those in by Monday, February 8, 2010, to Kari Turner in the front office.  These items would include: gift cards to retail locations or restaurants, merchandise or service from your employer, or items you own that would auction well and you do not mind parting with.
