Today’s return to school for CA students and faculty has been a positive one. Our morning attendance report resulted in only 7% of the student body being unable to travel to campus. Your support and understanding during the recent two snow days is greatly appreciated.
It is always the intent of CA to remain open and adhere to full operations; however, we do not want students or employees to take unwarranted risks when traveling to school in the event of inclement weather. When it is determined that the majority of our students and faculty traveling to and from campus would be at risk, we will close. On other days such as today, when we make the decision to open school we want each parent, student, or employee to exercise his/her best judgment with regards to road conditions and other safety concerns. Road conditions in areas away from the school campus may be worse than those surrounding the campus area. Therefore, no one should come to school if the conditions he/she is facing are felt to be unsafe.
When the roads between your home and school are too hazardous to travel, please call and inform us at 931-320-9321. This line will record your message, transcribe it, and send it in email format to us for documentation.
